We don’t believe that you should have to diagnose your own computer. We have listed our services under the sort of problems that people most frequently report, so that you can have an indication of possible cost. If your computer / laptop is given an overhaul we reduce the cost of each individual service; just like a day at the spa for your computer.  We don’t charge a diagnostic fee, so if you’re unsure if it’s worth getting an old computer fixed, we will tell you for free. Our prices do not include the cost of new components, parts or software.  We will advise and purchase components on your behalf if you wish. We are expert at sourcing the best software for you, often at little or no price such as open source, freeware and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) copies for your PC. Our female tech Sue Jordan is happy to answer queries and will always give honest, helpful, advice.  Lastly, just because we are so nice you will get your computer back from the workshop all shiny and clean for no extra charge!

Hardware Failures or Upgrades 

We install processors, memory, motherboards, hard drives, power supplies, graphics and sound cards, modems, CD/DVD drives, floppy drives, etc. We can supply replacement or upgrade components, or we can install components, which you have bought. We can help you select the right component for you and your budget’ and we will always tell you if a repair or replacement is your best option. Please note that if we are installing more than one component that the price is halved for each additional component.

Is your computer crashing or freezing in the middle of your office application or favourite game? Maybe your computer will not “boot up” (start), or there are error messages (Blue Screen of Death!) or it will only boot in 'Safe Mode'. These are common problems and we are experienced in identifying the source of the problem and in restoring your computer system to perfect health.

Are you having problems installing certain software or perhaps you have installed software, which has had unexpected side effects. You may have unwittingly installed malware which is often piggybacked on other innocent software. Virus and spyware attacks are becoming more frequent and more serious. They can be amongst the hardest computer problems to deal with as they can prevent antivirus software installation. Internet and Home Networking Problems 

We will be happy to install your modem, set up or configure an ADSL or cable (broadband) connection. We can advise you about home networking solutions for your current and future needs (wired or wireless) and check all of your security settings. We can help you as a parent to ensure your children’s safety online with software and hardware parental control. Often Kids have greater PC knowledge than their parents. Having a professional set up your home computers render them tamper proof. Our female tech Sue Jordan understands parents concerns and many clients feel happier inviting a woman into their home

New PC Setup / Transfer or Sheepses Custom PC Build

We can advise on what computer specification would suit for the tasks you perform on a PC. There is little point in buying a super fast gaming system if all you will use it for is email and web browsing, and conversely you want your pc to perform well.  We can build a system for you, using some of your existing components or fully custom designed computer tailored to your requirements. A very popular option is to keep your old computer when you purchase a new one, and we can rework your old computer at very low cost for a child’s / teenagers own PC (with internet or not as you wish). We also install and configure parental controls to keep your child safe online. As a parent herself our female tech Sue Jordan understands your concerns.
